Life rings sit quietly along the coast, easy to overlook against the drama of the sea and sky, yet they exist for moments when the landscape turns dangerous. This project photographing liferings around the coast of the Island and beyond celebrates the relationship between humans and the sea, and the dangers that relationship can present, which is why we these often overlooked objects are so important, and should be celebrated.
